Whatever It Takes

The angel of the Lord encamps
around those who fear him, and delivers them.
— Psalm 34:7 (ESV)

So, about that time that I went up a mountain in Colorado to retreat with Jesus and almost died…

Hey, friend, I wish that was an exaggeration, but it's not. Just three weeks ago, my oxygen levels were at 50% when I Ubered myself to an urgent care facility in Colorado Springs, thinking I just needed some antibiotics for my cough. Surely I was out of breath due to the elevation and my pandemic pounds, not the fluid on my lungs suffocating me from within. The nurse kept asking me how I was walking! As I sat in my hospital bed a couple of days later, I googled what the big deal was about 50% oxygen. Apparently, I should have been unconscious or in a coma! But God!

I knew I needed to share this story. It's far too long for a written post, so I recorded it. If you need a bit of inspiration or a nudge to keep fighting the spiritual battle in your calling to follow Jesus, tune in.
